New Owners for Triffitt Trailers

Laser Shapes UK Ltd, (part of the K C Group Ltd), is please to announce

the acquisition of Triffitt Trailers UK Ltd.  Production of the full range of Triffitt Trailers has already begun at our 60,000 sq ft factory in Accrington, Lancashire.

Laser Shapes UK has a wealth of knowledge in fabrication with state of the art laser cutting, fabrication and CNC machinery and a reputation for quality and dependability with accreditation to ISO 9001 2008.  

Chris McKelvey, Managing Director of Lasershapes, announced “we are delighted to have been successful in adding Triffitt Trailers to our group of manufacturing companies. We are well aware of the reputation Triffitt has for

building high quality trailers and it is our intention to build on these strengths and further enhance the Triffitt Trailer brand with the production technology we have available.” 

Jim Harrison, chairman of the group added “we are pleased Jim Kirby has agreed to join us as Sales and Technical Manager to ensure a smooth transition and assist the dealer network. His expertise and commitment to the trailer market is second to none. With opening our new office next door to the original site in Full Sutton we will be able to offer all Triffitt customers as good a service as before for sales, spares, repairs, technical support and a collection of new trailers.”

Triffitt Trailers was founded in 1969 and has become a standard for excellence in the manufacture of trailers for use in agricultural and commercial industry.

Optional extras are also available on most trailers to enhance performance such as ABS and air suspension, coupled with spring draw bars and low ground pressure tyres with profiles for field and road use.
